Services

Keep your business safe, backed up, and running.

Practical IT services from a local team that has been supporting Adirondack-region businesses for decades.

Security and Safety

In this digital era, it is more important than ever to protect the data your business holds dear.

We use strict security measures, from powerful routers that keep hackers out of your network to individual Webroot installations on end-user hardware that guard against phishing attacks, so you are more secure than ever before.

Backups and Disaster Prevention

If something serious happens to your systems, whether from a cyberattack, hardware failure, or software malfunction, we make sure you can be back up and running in no time.

By taking complete, automatic hourly backups of your vital data, servers, and workstations, we make sure nothing gets between you and getting your work done.

Smart Hardware Solutions

Even in this cloud-based era, countless companies push excessive and expensive on-site hardware installations for their own profit, despite so many tasks having moved to the cloud.

Instead, we work with you to find the best ways to reuse your current hardware alongside modern cloud solutions, and we only install new hardware when it is needed.

Software as a service

Microsoft 365

Microsoft Office has led the industry in business software for decades, and its cloud-based successor, Microsoft 365, is no exception.

Microsoft 365 combines the best of downloadable desktop applications with web-based applications that let you reach your files from anywhere in the world, on virtually any computer or operating system.

Since Adktech is a certified Microsoft 365 reseller, you can purchase seats directly from us. We will guide you through purchasing, allocating, and configuring the service to fit your business.

We understand that many small companies hesitate to move to a monthly Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model for their Microsoft Office needs, so we have collected answers to the questions we hear most often.

Frequently asked questions

Isn't it more expensive than purchasing Office once?

Although it is natural to assume that paying on a regular basis (monthly or annually) costs more than the one-time purchase Office has traditionally offered, many companies find they save quite a bit over the long run.

For one, when you buy Office as a one-time purchase you own only that version, so many companies end up paying again for later versions down the road. Microsoft 365 always includes the latest version of the software.

Email is also included in most Microsoft 365 plans, which can reduce or eliminate the cost of separate on-site or cloud-based email services.

Is my data safe online?

Modern cloud data services, like those hosted by Microsoft and Google, use the best and most recent security methods available and replicate data throughout the world so you never lose anything. They are far more reliable than most on-site implementations.

Additionally, if you use two-factor authentication (which we strongly recommend), the chance of your account being compromised diminishes significantly.

What happens if we want to cancel our subscription?

Adding or removing individual accounts is as simple as letting us know, and your bill is adjusted accordingly.

If you ever want to move your entire organization, you can download all of your data from OneDrive and Outlook and move on from there, no strings attached.
