Adirondack Technologies, Inc was founded in 1986 by Robert J. Scheidegger as a computer hardware and network reseller in Queensbury, New York. As the first entity to resell computer networks using Novell Netware, Adktech facilitated the first file and print sharing solutions in the region. At the time, Adktech specialized in accounting systems, desktop publishing, high resolution lasers, and CAD systems for local companies such as Finch Pruyn, Genpak, Espey, local law offices, and countless others.
During the 1990s, Adirondack Technologies began to develop professional software for desktops and networks, prior to the internet era itselfs. Using newly developed Microsoft network standards, Adktech developed one of the first dial-up solutions to network, setting the stage for dial-up services to the internet itself. Shortly following this development, Adktech provided dial-up internet services to the greater Glens Falls region, and began designing and hosting web sites under the name Adirondack Net. Eventually, Adirondack Technologies divested with providing direct dial-up services in order to focus more intently on improving the web design and hosting experience for its clients.
As time went on, Adktech began to focus on database-driven web architectures that facilitated online commerce and regional tourism promotion, which has been continued into the 21st century. Adktech has also built up and extensive network of consulting and IT services, including security, software, and hardware installation.

For over 5 years Robert has been developing professional applications using C# under an array of different frameworks, including WPF, WinForms, and ASP.NET Core MVC.
Robert graduated as Valedictorian of Queensbury High School and is currently studying Mathematics and Computer Science at Brown University.
